Fraisa's P-series roughing end mills are ground from ultra-fine grain carbide substrate and feature a serrated\/notched chip-splitting geometry on the flute lands that breaks chips into small segments, dramatically reducing cutting forces and enabling aggressive radial and axial depths of cut versus a standard end mill. The tool carries a bright (uncoated) finish, consistent with Fraisa's standard P-series offering for aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, and general-purpose steel roughing applications. The cylindrical shank is sized at 5\/8 in for direct clamping in standard ER, Weldon, or milling chuck toolholders of the same bore.
