Manufactured from Micro 100's \"Super Carbide\" submicron-grain substrate and finished with a dark DLC\/black PVD coating visible in the photos, this tool provides excellent surface finish on the bottom of a cut by driving chips downward, suppressing workpiece tearout and delamination on wood composites, laminates, plastics, and non-ferrous materials routed on CNC machining centers. The square-end, center-cutting geometry and right-hand helix with left-hand (downcut) spiral makes it particularly well-suited for through-cuts in sheet goods where a clean top-face finish is critical.
