The VP10RT grade is an uncoated ultra-fine grain cemented carbide specifically engineered for finishing and super-finishing of non-ferrous metals — primarily aluminum, copper, and brass alloys — where a sharp, honed edge and excellent surface finish are required. The insert geometry features a 7° clearance angle (C), ground-precision tolerance (G), with a T-type (top) chipbreaker and central mounting hole; the FJ chipbreaker geometry is optimized for low cutting forces and superb chip control at light depths of cut (ap ≤ 1.0 mm) and fine feeds. Each box contains 10 inserts and is compatible with SDJC\/SDDC-style toolholders accepting DCGT 07 02 inserts (e.g., Mitsubishi SDJCL\/R 10K-07 series).
