This new 1-1/2 in NPT brass gate valve is rated 150 CWP (Cold Working Pressure) at 300 PSI, as cast directly into the body, and features a full-port wedge gate design for unrestricted flow when fully open. The body and bonnet are cast brass, providing corrosion resistance suitable for water, oil, gas, and other non-aggressive media; the rising stem is brass with a packed stuffing box and a cast iron handwheel marked with open/close (O/S) rotation direction. The inside-screw, non-rising-stem-style bonnet with union packing nut allows field repacking under pressure, and the female NPT threaded end connections on both ports suit standard pipe threading. Typical applications include plumbing isolation, HVAC hydronic systems, water distribution, and general industrial fluid shutoff service.
