The 3M 604 Reusable Respirator Exhalation Valve Filter is a genuine OEM replacement component designed exclusively for use with 3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators in the 6000 Series (models 6100, 6200, and 6300). The filter mounts over the exhalation valve at the chin of the facepiece, providing a barrier that protects the valve from particulate contamination and extends service life of the underlying valve assembly; the open-cell red foam media visible on the filter face allows free exhaled airflow while blocking incoming particulate ingress. Each unit features a bayonet-style twist-lock plastic housing that seats securely into the 6000 Series valve port, with the bottom side exposing a louvered plastic exhalation valve cover.
