The 3M 7696-T-150 is a Cold Shrink QT-III silicone rubber indoor tubular termination kit with high-K stress relief, supplied as a new kit containing 3 terminations. It is designed for tape shield and wire shielded cables with an insulation O.D. range of 1.53 to 2.32 in (38.9 to 58.9 mm). Cable coverage per the box label is 5 kV at 1750-2000 kcmil, 8 kV at 1500-2000 kcmil, 15 kV at 1250-2000 kcmil (500-1000 mm2), 25/28 kV at 900-1750 kcmil (500-800 mm2) and 35 kV at 700-1500 kcmil (400-725 mm2), with a 150 kV impulse level that meets impulse requirements for 35 kV class equipment where indoor terminations are used. The pre-expanded silicone rubber bodies on removable spiral cores install without heat or torch, and the kit includes ground braid, cable cleaning preparation pads, copper mesh, a constant force spring, tape and instructions for installation.
