The 3M VFlex 9105 is a NIOSH-approved N95 particulate respirator featuring 3M's proprietary VFlex technology, which uses a unique folded-panel design that expands to create a larger filter area and more breathing room compared to standard flat-fold respirators — reducing breathing resistance without sacrificing filtration efficiency. NIOSH certification (TC-84A-5231, visible on the mask) confirms the 9105 filters at least 95% of airborne particles ≥0.3 microns, and the electrostatically charged microfiber filter media meets all requirements under 42 CFR Part 84.
