The 3M DBI-SALA 1500049 (3M ID 70007449062) is a new, single-leg medium bungee tool lanyard rated for hand tools up to 35 lb (15.9 kg), configured hook-to-loop — one end terminates in a wrist/tool loop of black-and-gray woven nylon webbing, the other in a locking aluminum carabiner. The bungee cord body is a yellow-and-black elastic coil that stretches from approximately 13 in (collapsed) to 52 in (extended), absorbing shock and reducing snag hazards on elevated work sites. The carabiner features a twist-lock gate mechanism to prevent accidental disengagement, meeting the requirements of ANSI/ISEA 121 for dropped-object prevention at heights. Manufactured in Taiwan and part of 3M's DBI-SALA tool tethering line, this lanyard is designed to attach hand tools to a worker's wrist, belt loop, or tool lanyard anchor point to prevent dropped-object incidents on construction, utility, and industrial elevated work platforms.
