3M Scott 8007213 ELSA EEBD-N 10 Min Emergency Escape Breathing Device

The 3M Scott ELSA EEBD-N (part number 8007213) is a new, self-contained emergency escape breathing device (EEBD) designed to provide 10 minutes of breathable air for escape from atmospheres that are toxic, oxygen-deficient, or Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH). The unit consists of a compressed air cylinder charged to 3,000 PSI, a demand/constant-flow regulator assembly, and a clear full-encapsulating hood that seals at the neck to protect the entire head — no fit-testing required. The cylinder pressure gauge reads in PSI x 10 with graduations at 75, 150, 225, and 300 (full), confirming a 3,000 PSI fill; the bright orange PVC-coated carry bag includes a shoulder strap, quick-release buckle, step-by-step donning pictograms printed on the exterior, and a Velcro-secured top flap for rapid access. NIOSH-approved for escape-only use, the ELSA EEBD-N is compliant with SOLAS/IMO requirements for marine vessel emergency equipment and is also used in industrial facilities, offshore platforms, tunnels, and confined-space egress applications. Included accessories per the photos are the hood assembly, user instruction sheet (P/N 595398-01 Rev C, dated 2023-02), and a Klean Kleak AFW 45 anti-fog wipe (P/N 2010173).
