The Abbott KTT10A3 is a serrated soft top jaw made for a 10-inch lathe chuck, and the part number is etched in the channel of the jaw. The top face carries fine serrations on both sides of a center channel, and the jaw has two through-holes for the mounting screws. The jaw has an angled nose and is left unhardened and unground so the machinist can bore or contour it to fit the workpiece. It is used on CNC and manual lathes to hold custom-shaped or delicate parts. This jaw is new.
