Abbott Workholding KTT8S1 soft lathe chuck jaws are sold as a matched set of three (PK3), machined from steel and featuring a fully serrated top surface with 90° serrations for positive grip engagement against master jaw serrations on compatible 3-jaw lathe chucks. Each jaw measures 1-1/2" overall width (OAW), 3" overall height (OAH), and 4" overall length (OAL), with a 0.9843" (approximately 25 mm) center-to-center distance between mounting holes and a 0.4724" (approximately 12 mm) fastener bore diameter. As soft (un-bored) jaws, they are supplied without a finished workholding bore, allowing the machinist to bore the gripping face in-situ to precise workpiece diameter for maximum concentricity and zero runout — a standard practice in precision turning and chuck reconditioning.
