Accupro 3/8x3/8x1-1/2x6 4FL XLR Carbide End Mill TiAlN Coated

This is a new Accupro High Performance 4-flute solid carbide extra-long reach (XLR) end mill, part number decoded from label as 3/8 in cutting diameter x 3/8 in shank diameter x 1-1/2 in length of cut x 6 in overall length, made in the USA. The tool features a dark PVD coating consistent with TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride), visible as the uniform black finish on both the shank and flutes, which provides elevated heat resistance and hardness for dry or semi-dry machining. The 4-flute geometry with right-hand helix is suited for peripheral and slot milling of steels, stainless steels, and hardened alloys where extended reach into deep cavities or tall workpieces is required. Compatible with standard 3/8 in ER collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, or side-lock holders; the reduced-shank XLR configuration allows deep-reach milling while maintaining a 3/8 in grip diameter.
