The Accupro 61543302 is a new, solid carbide (SC) square-end end mill with a 1/32 in cutting diameter, 1/8 in length of cut (LOC), 1/4 in straight shank, and 2-1/2 in overall length, featuring a 4-flute geometry and a semi-eccentric (SEM) relief grind with a ball nose-style tapered body visible in the photo. The tool is coated with AlTiN+ (Aluminum Titanium Nitride Plus), which provides elevated hardness (~3300 HV) and oxidation resistance up to approximately 1470°F (800°C), making it well-suited for dry or near-dry cutting of hardened steels, stainless steels, titanium alloys, and high-temperature superalloys. The BN (bright nose/uncoated cutting edge) designation indicates the very tip of the cutting edge is uncoated for sharpness and edge integrity on finish passes. Manufactured in the USA, this micro end mill is designed for high-speed machining centers requiring precision contouring, slotting, and profiling in tight-tolerance micro-machining applications where a 1/4 in shank holder or collet chuck is used.
