This is a new Accupro 61727905 solid carbide ball nose end mill with a 0.082 in (2.083 mm) cutting diameter, 1/8 in (0.125 in) shank diameter, 0.123 in length of cut, and 1.5 in overall length. The tool features 4 flutes with a semi-ball (SEM BN) geometry and is finished with an AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating, which provides high hardness, oxidation resistance up to ~1600°F, and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. The SC (solid carbide) substrate offers superior rigidity and wear resistance compared to HSS, making this end mill suited for finishing passes in hardened steels, stainless steels, titanium, and high-temperature alloys in die/mold and precision machining applications. The 1/8 in straight shank is compatible with ER collet chucks, precision hydraulic chucks, and shrink-fit holders with a 1/8 in bore. Made in USA per label.
