This is a new Accupro 70213707 solid carbide square end mill measuring 1/8 in cutting diameter with a 1/8 in shank diameter, 1/2 in length of cut, and 1-1/2 in overall length, made in the USA. The tool features 5 flutes with a variable helix geometry (VARI designation) designed to reduce harmonic chatter and improve surface finish during high-performance milling operations. It carries an AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating, which provides high hardness, excellent thermal resistance, and oxidation stability, making it well-suited for dry or semi-dry machining of hardened steels, stainless steels, and aerospace alloys. The semi-finishing (SEM) designation indicates it is optimized for semi-finish milling passes where both stock removal rate and surface quality are priorities. Compatible with standard 1/8 in collet toolholders including ER8, ER11, and ER16 collet chucks.
