Accupro 778938 CAT50 to MT3 Through Coolant Morse Taper Adapter

The Accupro 778938 is a new CAT50-to-MT3 adapter that mounts directly into a CAT50 (V-flange, ANSI B5.50) spindle and presents a #3 Morse Taper internal socket to accept MT3-shank tooling such as drill chucks, arbors, reamers, and live centers. The adapter features a 1.77 in projection from the spindle face to the MT3 socket nose and a 1.57 in through-bore diameter for coolant-through capability, allowing pressurized coolant delivery directly to MT3 tooling that supports it. Manufactured in Italy per the Accupro label (lot 2025 06), the body is ground alloy steel with a black-oxide finish on the shank and a polished flange, and the CAT50 flange incorporates the standard dual drive keys and retention knob pull stud thread for positive drive. This adapter is suited for CNC vertical machining centers with CAT50 spindles where occasional use of Morse Taper tooling is required without a dedicated MT3 toolholder.
