Acu-Rite 558111-04 SENC 150 4" 1µm Linear Encoder Scale

The Acu-Rite SENC 150 (ID 558111-04) is a new, sealed linear encoder scale with a 4.0-inch (approximately 100 mm) measuring length and 1 µm (0.000040 in) resolution, manufactured in Austria and UKCA/CE certified. The encoder uses an incremental optical measurement principle with a Ptrac (periodic reference mark) reference system and outputs a 1 Vpp sinusoidal signal via a D9 connector, making it compatible with Acu-Rite DRO readout systems including the MILLPWR and VUE/MILLMATE series as well as other systems accepting the standard 1 Vpp interface. The scale body is an extruded aluminum extrusion with internal glass measuring graduation, and the armored cable is a stainless-steel braided flexible conduit measuring 13.0 feet (approximately 4 m) in length with a 9-pin D-sub (D9) connector. The kit includes the scale, reading head with armored cable assembly, Encoder Mounting Hardware Kit (680227-01) containing scale and reading head fasteners in both inch and metric sizes, Reading Head Cable Mounting Hardware Kit (638607-01), and a printed SENC 150 reference manual. This unit carries serial number 79807965 D as confirmed on the quality inspection document.
