The Air Systems International ASI-1000 is a new pneumatic venturi air blower designed for confined space ventilation, supplying fresh air to personnel working in tanks, vaults, manholes, and other permit-required confined spaces. It operates on compressed air using the venturi (eductor) principle — a compressed air supply drives a high-velocity jet through the venturi nozzle, entraining surrounding air and producing a large-volume airflow output with no moving parts, no motor, and no electrical hazard. The inlet connection is 1/2 in NPT with a maximum allowable inlet pressure of 140 psi; the cast aluminum base flanges for standard duct attachment and the galvanized steel horn directs the amplified airflow into the duct or space. As part of ASI's blower family (ASI-1000, ASI-1200, ASI-2900, ASI-4100), the ASI-1000 is the entry-level model and is manufactured in the USA by Air Systems International, Inc. of Chesapeake, VA; it ships complete with instruction manual and warranty registration card as shown.
