The Allegro Industries (Walter) Model 9533-25 is a new 8-inch axial Com-PAXial blower packaged with a canister and 25-foot flexible duct, purpose-built for confined space ventilation in compliance with OSHA confined space entry requirements. The blower housing is constructed of high-impact orange polyethylene plastic, making it non-sparking and corrosion-resistant for use in chemically aggressive or moisture-laden environments. The 1/3 HP, single-phase AC motor operates on 115/230 VAC dual voltage at 4.8/2.4 amps (50 Hz: 2800 RPM; 60 Hz: 3400 RPM at 4.5/2.2 amps), is thermally protected against overload, and delivers 831 CFM free air, 709 CFM through one 90-degree bend, and 586 CFM through two 90-degree bends. The unit is ETL listed (Intertek File 119224) and certified to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 113, features a quick-connect canister latch system for tool-free duct attachment, an integrated carry handle with cord wrap strap, and stable leg-base feet for upright positioning at manhole entries, tanks, vaults, and utility excavations.
