This new Allied Machine & Engineering (AMEC) T-A spade drill insert is size #4 with a 48.000 mm (about 1.890 in) cutting diameter, part number 111028-534, and is supplied as a single piece marked Special Order. It carries the AM200 coating designation and a (SC) designation as printed on the label, and the insert has a bronze-colored coated finish with chip-splitting notches along the cutting edges. It has two mounting screw holes and a drive slot at the base and is made in the USA. It is intended for T-A series spade drill holders from Allied Machine, and the T-A insert size must match the holder pocket.
