Allied Machine 136T-0308 #6 T-A 3-1/4in HSS TiN Spade Drill Insert

The Allied Machine & Engineering 136T-0308 is a new #6 T-A® Standard spade drill insert designed for use in Allied's T-A® modular spade drilling system, sized for a 3-1/4 in (3.2500 in / 82.55 mm) drill diameter. The insert is manufactured from High Speed Steel (HSS) with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, which provides a characteristic bright gold finish, increases surface hardness, reduces friction, and extends tool life compared to uncoated HSS in a wide range of workpiece materials including carbon steels, alloy steels, and cast irons. The T-A® insert features Allied's proven tip geometry with serrated (T-A) edges for positive chip control, a central carbide insert tip visible in the photo for improved point strength and wear resistance, and through-coolant-compatible mounting holes for use with compatible T-A® spade drill holders that accept the #6 insert size. Made in the USA, this insert is a direct replacement for the Allied Machine 136T-0308 and is supplied individually (Qty: 1) in Allied's standard plastic case.
