Allied Machine 136T-0316 #6 T-A 3-1/2 in HSS TiN Spade Drill Insert

The Allied Machine & Engineering 136T-0316 is a new #6 T-A® Standard spade drill insert with a 3-1/2 in (3.5000 in / 88.90 mm) diameter, manufactured in the USA from High Speed Steel (HSS) with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating — confirmed directly from the product label. The TiN coating provides a hardness increase over bare HSS and improves lubricity, reducing built-up edge and extending tool life in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This insert is designed to seat in Allied Machine's T-A® #6 spade drill holder bodies, using the characteristic serrated top surface (visible in the photos) and dual mounting holes for positive clamping and accurate, repeatable positioning. The T-A® insert system allows quick insert changes without removing the holder from the spindle, making it well-suited for high-production drilling operations in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials on CNC machining centers, lathes, or drill presses with appropriate #6-series holder bodies.
