The Allied Machine & Engineering 250Y0S-075L is a new #Y Series T-A® replaceable-tip drill holder in the extended-length configuration, designed for use on lathes with a 3/4 in (0.750 in) round shank. The T-A® system uses a V-notch locating pocket that indexes single-flute, brazed-insert-style replaceable drill heads (T-A® inserts) for through-coolant deep-hole drilling; the #Y insert size covers a diameter range of 0.3740 in to 0.4369 in as confirmed by the factory label. The holder body is manufactured from alloy steel with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance, and the extended shank length enables reach into deep bores or past chuck jaws without the use of additional extensions. This holder is compatible with Allied Machine #Y Series T-A® drill heads and is made in the USA.
