The Allied Machine & Engineering 60312S-075F is a GEN3SYS 12 Series indexable insert drill holder with straight flutes and a 3xD length, with a 12mm drill diameter marking. It has a 3/4 in flanged (FLG) shank and a black finish, and it was made in the US. The GEN3SYS system uses replaceable indexable carbide inserts, so a single holder can be reused as inserts wear. This holder is supplied new, with four insert screws, a Torx-style driver wrench and a packet of anti-seize lubricating compound in the original Allied Machine tube packaging.
