Aluminum 46x1.3in Matte Black T-Molding Floor Transition Trim Strip

This new aluminum T-molding floor transition strip measures 48 inches (4 ft) in length by 1.3 inches in width and features a matte black anodized finish for a clean, low-profile appearance. The T-shaped cross-section includes a center spine with barbed/ribbed retention tabs (visible in the end-on photo) that press-fit or snap into a pre-cut floor channel or track, providing a tool-free or minimal-hardware installation between abutting floor surfaces. Constructed from extruded aluminum, this trim is designed to bridge expansion gaps and height transitions between hard flooring surfaces such as laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), hardwood, and tile, protecting exposed edges and preventing trip hazards. The underside retention fin with serrated barbs locks into the subfloor track to resist displacement under foot traffic. Suitable for residential and light commercial flooring installations where a narrow, low-profile transition is required at doorways or room junctions.
