This is a new, unissued U.S. military surplus padlock set consisting of 10 American Lock Series 5200 solid steel body padlocks, all keyed alike, supplied with 12 keys total (2 keys included beyond the 10 locks). The set is issued under NSN 5340-01-463-5841, Cage Code 38797, Part Number ASTMF883, and meets the ASTM F883 standard for padlocks — the performance specification that governs attack resistance, shackle strength, and operating torque for industrial and government-grade padlocks. Each lock features a zinc-dichromate (yellow chromate) plated steel body visible in the photos, a hardened steel shackle marked "HARDENED" on the shackle bow, and a 6-pin pin-tumbler cylinder for high pick resistance.
