The Apex Tool Group (Xcelite) 27396 is a new T8 Torx screwdriver from the SD-TORX line, featuring a 2-1/2 in (63.5 mm) blade length with a T8 6-lobe Torx tip machined directly into the hardened steel shaft. The tool features Apex's signature red ergonomic handle with a contoured thumb-push cap that allows palm pressure for seating and a rotating cap for precision driving — a design that minimizes hand fatigue during repetitive fastening tasks. The T8 tip size engages M2.5–M3 class Torx fasteners commonly found in electronics, automotive interior panels, and small appliances. Made in USA, the blade is manufactured from heat-treated S2 tool steel providing high torsional strength and tip durability. This is a new, unused example ready for immediate use.
