The Apollo Valves 4ALF-204-A2F (model RPLF4A) is a new, lead-free bronze reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer assembly in 3/4 in pipe size, designed to protect potable water supplies from backflow contamination in high-hazard applications. As confirmed by the box label and body markings, this assembly includes two integral lead-free ball valve shutoffs and SAE test cocks, and is built to the standard 4A series configuration with female NPT threaded end connections. The body and wetted surfaces are lead-free bronze (≤0.25% lead by weighted average), complying with NSF/ANSI 61, CA AB1953, VT Act 193, MD HB1372, LA HB471, and Federal Public Law 111-380. Rated at 175 PSI maximum working pressure and tested across a temperature range of 33°F to 180°F, this assembly carries USC FCCCHR and NSF listings, making it suitable for commercial and industrial potable water, irrigation, and fire protection cross-connection control installations. Factory backflow-tested prior to shipment, as indicated by the Apollo Backflow Test Tag included with the unit.
