The Apollo Valves PVB4A (catalog# 4A-504-A2F) is a new, 3/4 in. pressure-type vacuum breaker (PVB) from the 4A Series, constructed of lead-free bronze and designed to prevent backflow/back-siphonage in non-potable irrigation and hose connection applications. Per the nameplate and box label, it is rated to 150 PSI maximum operating pressure with a temperature range of 33°F–140°F, and meets ASSE 1020 and CSA B64.1.2 standards. The assembly ships complete with two integrated Apollo quarter-turn ball valves (upstream shutoff and downstream shutoff) featuring yellow lever handles and two SAE test cocks for field testing per code, all in a bronze body with a black UV-resistant bonnet cap. This unit carries UPC/cUPC listing markings and is manufactured under ISO 9001-registered quality management; it is explicitly labeled NOT for use on potable (drinking) water services per the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act.
