The Armstrong 811 (part number C5297-23, Grainger 36Y194) is a new cast iron inverted bucket steam trap with 1/2 in FNPT connections and orifice #38, rated for a maximum operating pressure (PMO) of 250 PSI (17.2 bar) and a maximum temperature of 450°F. The inverted bucket mechanism provides reliable, continuous condensate discharge and is self-priming, making it well-suited for steam distribution mains, tracing lines, and process heating equipment operating at moderate-to-high pressures. The body is cast iron with a blue enamel finish; internals are stainless steel as is standard for Armstrong 811-series traps. At 250 PSI and orifice #38, the trap delivers a rated condensate capacity of approximately 750 lb/hr at full differential pressure. This unit ships new in original Armstrong packaging and does not include an integral strainer — a separate Y-strainer is recommended upstream.
