This is a new Artis ARTIS-CTEM.625/3FL/10DG/TIN solid carbide taper end mill with a 5/8 in (0.625 in) shank diameter, 3-flute geometry, and a 10-degree included taper half-angle, ground to drawing number 47059845 (Job 152286). The tool body is manufactured from submicron solid carbide and features a full TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating, visible as the bright gold finish throughout the fluted section, which raises surface hardness and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous milling applications. The 3-flute taper profile is designed for profiling, draft-angle milling, die/mold cavity work, and angled wall finishing where a consistent taper must be maintained along the cutting length. The straight (cylindrical) shank is uncoated for direct clamping in collet chucks, end mill holders, or shrink-fit toolholders compatible with 5/8 in bore. Condition is new, unused, and supplied in the original Artis blue plastic protective case.
