Atom ADR-0.71 0.71mm Solid Carbide Micro Drill Bit

The Atom ADR-0.71 is a new, solid carbide micro drill bit with a 0.71 mm cutting diameter, manufactured in Japan under the Atom (ATOM) brand and packaged in their standard red-capped protective tube. The "ADR" series designates a standard straight-shank micro drill geometry with a reduced-neck/tapered shank profile — visible in the product photo — that allows the small-diameter fluted section to be supported by a larger shank body, minimizing runout and deflection at micro diameters. The (12G) designation on the label identifies the lot or grade classification used by Atom for this series; the tool is produced from ultra-fine grain solid carbide, suited for drilling non-ferrous metals, PCB materials, plastics, and other materials requiring tight-tolerance micro holes.
