This is a new, unused American Tool Service (ATS) part number 750-4375, a solid carbide 5-flute high-performance (HP) square end mill measuring 7/16 in cutting diameter with a 7/16 in shank diameter, 1 in length of cut, and 2-3/4 in overall length, made in the USA. The tool carries an AlCrN (aluminum chromium nitride) PVD coating, which provides excellent oxidation resistance and hardness at elevated temperatures, making it well-suited for dry or semi-dry machining of hardened steels, stainless steels, and high-temp alloys. The 5-flute geometry increases the number of cutting edges relative to standard 4-flute designs, improving surface finish and material removal rates in finishing and semi-finishing operations on CNC machining centers. The 7/16 in straight cylindrical shank is compatible with standard ER, Weldon, and hydraulic toolholders accepting 7/16 in bore. The tool ships in its original ATS plastic case and is in new, unrun condition.
