The Baldwin Filters PA30118 is a new, heavy-duty engine air filter with a round-oval (oblong/racetrack) cross-section, pleated cellulose filter media, and an axial (face) seal design using a molded pink/magenta polyurethane end cap that seats against the air cleaner housing. The bottom end cap and outlet flange are constructed of PA6-GF10 glass-filled nylon reinforced TPO (thermoplastic olefin), as molded into the base and visible in the photos; this combination delivers rigidity and resistance to vibration and temperature cycling in demanding on-highway and off-highway applications. Manufactured in Germany, the PA30118 cross-references to applications on trucks and heavy equipment where an oval-bore air cleaner housing is used; the filter integrates a radial inner safety seal visible from the top view, ensuring a dual-stage sealing interface against bypass.
