The Band-It 6YPZ9 is a new, hand-operated banding installation tool designed specifically for use with Band-It cable tie bands 6YPY7 and 6YPY9, as confirmed by the label visible on the original box. The tool features a steel construction with a blue grip handle and a lever-action tensioning and cutting mechanism that tensions the band around the bundle and cuts off the excess tail in a single-tool operation. Compatible bands are the snap-together type requiring no separate buckle, and the 6YPZ9 tool provides consistent, repeatable tensioning force to ensure secure, uniform installations on wire harnesses, hoses, conduit bundles, and similar applications. This unit is new, factory-sealed in its original poly bag and white carton with the Grainger-style label displaying part number 6YPZ9.
