The Bell & Gossett BP400-010 is a new, copper-brazed stainless steel plate heat exchanger from the BPX series, manufactured in Buffalo, NY by Xylem and carrying NSF 372 certification for lead-free compliance. The unit consists of 10 plates and is rated for a maximum working pressure (MAWP) of 435 PSI on both hot and cold sides at a maximum temperature of 300°F, with a minimum design metal temperature (MDMT) of -30°F at 435 PSI, as confirmed by the ASME National Board nameplate (NB# 325195, certified by Xylem, Year 2019). It is UL/cUL Listed as a refrigerant heat exchanger (File 8L84) and approved for use with refrigerants R-11, R-12, R-21, R-22, R-113, R-114, R-123, R-134a, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R-502, and R-507a, making it suitable for HVAC, refrigeration, and hydronic heating applications. The four connections are fitted with protective plastic port caps as shipped; CRN# 0H10445.5C confirms Canadian registration under CSA.
