The Bessey STB-12 is a new, heavy-duty sliding arm bar clamp from Bessey's STB series, featuring a 12-inch clamping capacity, 7-inch throat depth, and a 0.85-inch diameter lead screw spindle capable of delivering up to 4,880 lbs of clamping force. The clamp body is constructed from ductile iron with a zinc-plated steel bar (T-bar rail), providing corrosion resistance and rigidity suited for welding, fabrication, and metalworking fixturing applications. The sliding arm design allows rapid repositioning without removing the clamp from the workpiece, and the cross-pin tommy bar handle delivers high torque for achieving maximum clamping pressure. The fixed jaw and sliding jaw faces are hardened for wear resistance, and the integrated swivel pad on the spindle tip ensures even load distribution across irregular surfaces.
