The Better Packages Better Pack BP555eS is a new, electric water-activated tape (WAT) dispenser designed for high-volume shipping and warehouse operations, capable of dispensing gummed kraft paper tape up to 3 in wide and accommodating tape rolls up to 10 in in diameter. The electronic keypad features 14 color-coded one-touch preset length buttons (6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, and 45 in), a +/- fine-adjust, a 2x double-length function, and a Repeat/Start button for rapid back-to-back dispensing without re-entering a length — ideal for production packing lines. An adjustable water heater knob (OFF to MAX) controls the moistening temperature for optimal adhesive activation across standard and reinforced gummed tapes; the machine includes a RS-232 serial port on the rear panel for integration with automated packaging systems. The BP555eS runs on 120 V AC power, draws approximately 4.6 A, and ships in its original Better Packages/IPG factory carton with serial number 5ES00213968.
