This is a new, factory-sealed box of 10 Ceratizit LDFT 150420SR-33 GM246 indexable carbide milling inserts, manufactured in Austria (as noted on packaging). The insert designation decodes as follows: LDFT = rectangular/parallelogram shape with double-sided geometry for face/shoulder milling, 15 = 15mm inscribed circle / cutting edge length, 04 = 4mm thickness, 20 = corner radius designation, SR = positive/sharp cutting edge geometry with right-hand orientation, 33 = chipbreaker style designating a positive rake face geometry. The grade GM246 is a Ceratizit PVD TiAlN-family coated submicron carbide grade rated ISO-HC P40M40, making it suitable for milling steel (P) and stainless/tough materials (M) under interrupted and heavy-feed conditions where toughness is prioritized. The gold PVD coating is clearly visible in the photos, consistent with TiAlN or TiN-family PVD applied to a tough WC-Co substrate. These inserts are compatible with Ceratizit LDFT-series face and shoulder milling cutters designed for the 150420 insert seat geometry.
