The Chronomite Laboratories ER-50L/480_3P is a new, High Capacity Instant-Temp® electric tankless (on-demand) water heater from the ER Series, designed for heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications requiring continuous hot water at high flow rates. The unit operates on 480V AC, 3-phase (50–60 Hz), drawing 29 amps per phase to deliver 24,000 watts of heating capacity, with a factory-set outlet temperature of 125°F (adjustable via the built-in thermostat dial). Construction features a rugged steel housing with a powder-coat finish and an internal CalRac plastic element assembly with Incoloy heating elements; connections are 3/4 in. NPTF brass inlet (cold) and outlet (hot) fittings mounted horizontally on the unit face. Operating pressure range is 25–80 PSI (172–552 kPa) with a 150 PSI maximum rated pressure; the unit carries UL Std. 499, IEC/EN 60335-1, IEC/EN 60335-2-35, CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 88, IAPMO/UPC, and ETL listings, and is certified lead-free per Pb compliance markings.
