This Cle-Force C69198 is a 1/4-20 NC (UNC) spiral point plug tap made from high speed steel (HSS) with an H3 pitch diameter limit. The spiral point (gun) design pushes chips ahead of the tap, which suits through-hole tapping, and the plug chamfer starts the thread easily. It has a bright, uncoated finish and a straight shank with a square drive end for use in a tap wrench or tapping holder. The tap is new, supplied in a clear plastic protective case, and is marked 1/4-20 H3 HSS China on the shank.
