The Cle-Line C21165 Bit Barrel is a new 29-piece jobber-length drill bit set in fractional sizes from 1/16 in to 1/2 in by 1/64 in increments, manufactured from M2 high-speed steel with a black oxide and gold (bright) combination finish that reduces friction, resists corrosion, and aids lubricity during cutting. Each drill features a 135° split-point geometry that self-centers on contact, eliminating the need for a center punch on most materials and reducing thrust force compared to a conventional 118° point. The round shanks are compatible with standard 3-jaw drill chucks on drill presses, hand drills, and milling machine quills; the set is suited for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and wood. The proprietary Bit Barrel canister organizer holds all 29 bits point-up in a labeled radial pattern for fast size identification and secure bench or toolbox storage.
