The Columbus McKinnon (CM) Valustar Model WB (Code 2401) is a new, single-phase electric chain hoist rated for 1/4 ton (250 kg / 500 lb) with a 10 ft (3 m) lift height and hook mount suspension. Power supply is 110–120V / 1-phase / 60 Hz, drawing 7.7 amps from a 1/2 HP (0.37 kW) motor, with a lift speed of 16 FPM (4.8 MPM). The unit weighs 27.7 kg (61 lb) and is manufactured in the USA at Columbus McKinnon Corp., Getzville, NY; it ships with the load chain, hook block with safety latch, pendant push-button control, and the factory operating/maintenance/parts manual. The Valustar line is designed for light-duty industrial and commercial lifting applications where a compact, affordable single-reeved chain hoist on standard I-beam or hook-mount trolley is required — the hook suspension allows direct mounting from a fixed structural hook or integrated with a compatible CM push or geared trolley.
