CRC 03222 Industrial Chute Lube is a silicone-based lubricant formulated specifically for package handling applications, designed to help packages and boxes glide smoothly over chutes, deadplates, and conveyor surfaces while eliminating binding and sticking. The product is supplied new in a 5-gallon (31 lb net weight / 14.1 kg) steel pail with a bung-top lid and carry handle, ready for bulk dispensing. Its petroleum distillate carrier (hydrotreated heavy naphtha and hydrotreated light distillates) delivers a dimethylpolysiloxane active silicone film that lubricates without attracting dirt and maintains good surface contact in wet conditions across a temperature range of -40°F to 400°F. The formulation is NSF registered (Category H2, Reg. No. 139430) as a nonfood compound, making it suitable for use in facilities subject to food-safety audits. HMIS ratings are Health 2, Flammability 2, Reactivity 0; GHS hazard classification requires adequate ventilation and spark-proof equipment during use.
