Cutting Edge Carbide CEAA01286 1/8" 60 DEG Helix Carbide End Mill

This is a new Cutting Edge Carbide Technologies (Leominster, MA) solid carbide end mill, MPN CEAA01286, specified as 1/8" diameter with a 60-degree helix angle (designated "Hx" on the label) and an AlTiN-type black oxide or dark nitride coating visible on the flute body in the product photo. The high 60° helix angle produces aggressive chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces, making this geometry well-suited for softer non-ferrous materials, composites, and plastics where shear action and chip clearing are priorities; it is also applied in high-speed finishing passes on aluminum alloys. The tool ships in Cutting Edge Carbide's standard plastic vial packaging, date-coded 03/2021, and is unused/new-old-stock in its original sealed tube.
