Cutting Tool Engineers T2424 4-Flute Flatted Shank Counterbore Cutter

This Cutting Tool Engineers T2424 is a 4-flute counterbore-style cutter with a dark finish and a straight round shank that has a drive flat for set-screw holding. The head has four cutting lands with relieved cutting edges and a small hole visible in the face of some lands. The shank is laser-etched with the Cutting Tool Engineers brand name and a size marking. The tool is used on a drill press, mill or machining center to cut flat-bottomed counterbores or spot faces.
