Dapra SSEM0500-0625-R35-1C 1/2in Cut 5/8in Shank Indexable Drill Body

The Dapra SSEM0500-0625-R35-1C is a new, USA-made indexable single-insert drill body from Dapra's SSEM (Solid Shank End Mill/Drill) series, designed for use with a single indexable insert secured by an SSTX-08 Torx clamp screw (included). Decoding the part number: "0500" indicates a 1/2 in (0.500 in) cutting diameter; "0625" designates the 5/8 in (0.625 in) cylindrical straight shank diameter; "R35" specifies the insert pocket geometry for R35-series (round, 3.5 mm radius) inserts; "1C" denotes a 1-insert-pocket configuration with coolant-through capability, confirmed by the visible coolant port at the tip of the drill body. The tool body is manufactured from hardened alloy steel with a satin/brushed finish and features an internal coolant-through channel for high-pressure coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone, making it well-suited for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous materials on CNC machining centers.
