The Dayton 21VG50A is a new fork-mounted drum lifter and dispenser designed to handle one standard 55-gallon steel drum with a rated load capacity of 1,500 lbs (680 kg), sliding directly onto standard forklift tines for hands-free drum transport and dispensing without secondary lifting equipment. The unit features a welded steel frame with an integrated chain restraint mechanism to secure the drum during travel, a hand-wheel-operated tilt/rotate mechanism for drum dispensing, and a low-profile fork pocket base measuring 30-1/2 in L x 39 in W x 19 in H overall. The drum cradle rotates to allow controlled pouring or dispensing of drum contents while the drum remains secured to the forklift attachment, making it suited for drum handling in chemical, oil, lubricant, and bulk liquid transfer applications.
