Dayton 2UXU6 40A 4-Pole 240VAC Coil IEC Motor Contactor

The Dayton 2UXU6 is a new, 4-pole IEC-rated motor contactor rated at 40 amperes with a 240 VAC control coil, conforming to IEC EN 60947-4-1 standards and carrying UL listing for use in North American installations. The contactor is rated for AC-3 duty at up to 690V AC with a maximum thermal current (Ith) of 60A, and carries motor horsepower ratings of 15 HP at 120V, 20 HP at 208V, 25 HP at 240V, and 30 HP at 460/600V (3-phase). Short-circuit withstand rating is 600V Max, 5 kA SYM with a 125A CB coordination per the UL label, and terminal torque is specified at 31 lb-in. The unit features four main poles with a blue auxiliary contact bridge visible on the top face, screw-clamp power terminals, and a panel/DIN-rail compatible mounting base; it is suited for motor starter assemblies, HVAC compressor control, and reversing contactor applications requiring IEC-type switching devices.
