The Dayton 32V140A is a new tank mixer gear drive unit consisting of a gear-reduction gearbox mounted to a Dayton general-purpose TEFC motor (model PPLTFB41TBG), rated 1/2 HP (0.37 kW), single-phase, 1725 RPM at 60 Hz, with dual-voltage capability of 115/208-230V AC. The motor carries a 56C frame, Class F insulation, 1.15 service factor, and a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure rated for 40°C ambient — suitable for wash-down-adjacent and moderately harsh environments. The gearbox output shaft is 316 stainless steel, and the unit ships with a 3-blade fixed propeller; the clamp-style mount allows top-mounting directly onto tank lips or flanges without additional hardware. Typical applications include mixing of chemicals, coatings, adhesives, food-grade slurries, and other tank-agitation duties where stainless wetted parts are required. The unit is new, cULus listed (E47479), and manufactured for Dayton Electric Mfg. Co., Lake Forest, IL.
